 Fleas
Cat Fleas or Dog Fleas are around 2-3mm long and brown and lay 4-8 white oval eggs of 0.5mm long after a blood meal - and up to 1,000 in a lifetime.
They breed around cats and dogs and their bedding with development of between 8 and 150 days depending on the temperature and can survive even when the host has vacated the environment.
Flea Control
Controlling fleas has to be thorough with pets, bedding, carpets, vacuuming and use of contact insesticide all required - the treatment of the pets are the owners responsibility.
